Introducing Rubik’s 360
The Rubik’s 360 came at Hamleys in London almost a week ago. Do you want to know what were the initial responses to it?
The demand for the toy was great even from the first day. Many fans of Rubik’s cube have been long awaiting something new to challenge their mind.
That is why Rubik’s 360 is out of stock at Hamleys website. Since you definitely want to get your hands on Rubik’s 360 yourself where can you find it?
Things don’t look good. Play.com takes pre-orders for 14.99 pounds and you should get the product sometime soon. ToyShop.com is also out of stock and other suppliers like Argos, Amazon, ASDA, Tesco, Toys R Us are still waiting to get their first delivery.
This Christmas the Rubik’s 360 will be one of the best sellers.
Before Rubik’s 360 made it to the market the promotion and advertising was huge. The manufacturers have taken the best of the best to promote the campaign for Rubik’s 360. In the team there were names such as Dan Harris, twice UK Rubik’s Speedcubing Champion, Emily Dixon, Freelance Acrobat/Trapeze Artist and huge Rubik’s fan.
Also, there was a video on SKYPE that had to do with Rubik’s Cube showing Jay Terrafranca who was also part of the promoting group. And there was also a little girl Maddy Kendall-Murray that appeared in the madcap children in the St. Trinians films and was one of the faces in the Rubik’s advertisements.
This well-organised team did their best to promote and advertise the Rubik’s 360. However, not even them expected the huge welcome that awaited the new toy.
At the introduction of Rubik’s 360 Seven Towns LTD representatives David Hadley Jones and Chrisi Trusell cut the tape and they let the fans meet with the Rubik’s 360.
The accessories such as the hat and the tie were in unison with the spherical shape of Rubik’s 360. Apart from the representatives from the company that launched Rubik’s 360 in the event there were many people from Hamleys that helped people with their new purchase.
Pretty soon there were no more Rubik’s 360 to be bought and there were only a lucky few that managed to get their hands on the new toy that day. After that there was something like a light party to celebrate the big success of the day.
Since we were there and witnessed the event we can only say that from the very first day Rubik’s 360 showed what a big success it will be. It really is a game that stands up to the name Rubik. We can only wait for time to show if this toy will have the immeasurable success of the Rubik’s cube and if it will be embraced with the same passion.
